Motivation Monday | Setting Realistic Goals

1. Identify What you want & why do you want it. 

Make sure you aren’t doing it because you see others doing it and it is something you genuinely want.

2. Define the Goal

Create your plan on how you will attain the goal. For example, if you want to buy a new tablet. Will you need to set aside money, change your spending habits to reach the goal.

3. Execute the plan

Once you have started executing the plan, there will be distractions or roadblocks, but don’t let it discourage you. Instead sit down and regroup when needed.

4. Evaluate the goal/plan

Look back and see what went wrong. What did you overestimate. Did your wants make you come up with an unrealistic plan, when reality hit it fell apart?

Setting realistic goals helps us to not get discouraged because your plan has a lower chance of failing. By changing your mindset to staying positive and open to new tips you will have a higher chance of achieving your goals.
